Welcome
The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland administers the
Queensland Professional Engineers Act 2002 (The Act).
The Act provides for the registration of professional engineers to
practise in Queensland.
It prohibits persons who are not registered from providing
professional engineering services in Queensland. The only exception is
for individuals who practise under the supervision of registered
professional engineers registered in the same area of
engineering.
The Act provides a process for persons who are aggrieved by the
conduct of a registered professional engineer to lodge a complaint about
that engineer's professional conduct.
The current legislation is as follows:
Professional Engineers Act 2002 (as amended)
Professional
Engineers Regulations 2003
